Once Upon A Table, Inc. is a registered South Carolina nonprofit corporation. We provide tableware rentals to weddings and events all over the southeast and then use net profits for community aid programs that address food insecurity, housing instability, transportation access, and emergency healthcare needs.

Our unique name comes from our mission to tell the stories of the underserved and marginalized in our community, and secondarily to tell the stories of our thrifted inventory. The “table“ part is both literal and symbolic. Literally we use tableware to put food on someone else's table.

Tables aren’t just for meals… they’re for moments. The “table” is symbolic of connection and community.

Once Upon A Table, Inc. builds community, redistributes resources, and challenges systems of oppression by transforming celebration into solidarity. We provide sustainable, ethically sourced, affordable décor and tableware rentals that reduce waste and make beauty accessible to all, then reinvest every net dollar into local mutual aid programs that meet everyday needs with dignity, creativity, and care.
